LIDS® Win A Year's Worth of Headwear Giveaway

LIDS® Contest Submission Period (the “Contest”) begins on April 1st, 2025, at 9:00 am AEST and and will continue until further notice. The winner will be contacted via email by a member of the LIDS® team every quarter.
Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of Victoria and New South Walles in Australia and it’s 8 states and territories, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of April 1st, 2025. Void wherever prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. The Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Employees and representatives of LIDS®, its licensees and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries and advertising, promotion, publicity, production and judging agencies (collectively, the “Contest Entities”), and their immediate family members and those with whom any of the above is domiciled (whether related or not), are not eligible to enter or win.
How to Enter: To enter the competition for a chance to win a year’s worth of headwear, participants must sign up to our database via the website sign-up form or social media (Meta) forms. By signing up, participants must provide valid personal details, including their full name, email address, phone number, and consent to receive marketing communications via mobile and/or email.
Winner Selection: The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries. The selection will be conducted by the LIDS® management team by the 10th of each subsequent quarter (January, April, July, October). The winner will be notified via email within 48 hours from the selection date. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, another winner may be selected.
Consent to Marketing Communications: By entering, you consent to receiving marketing communications from LIDS® via email, SMS, and/or mobile notifications. You can opt-out of receiving these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each communication.
Grand Prize: LIDS® understands that a year’s worth of headwear encompasses a total of 12 hats, with an average order value of AUD$50.00 per hat. Therefore, the winner will receive a gift card worth AUD$600.00, which can be used at their discretion in-store.
Additional Terms and Conditions. By registering to the competition and submitting your personal details, you hereby accept all Terms and Conditions and agree to grant LIDS® and its associated and affiliated companies the right to access the personal information you have provided.
Notice to online entrants: any attempt by an individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of this application is a violation of laws, and should such an attempt be made, promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The entries and prizes are personal and non-transferable. No cash alternative or other prize alternatives are available except that in the event of unforeseen circumstances out of its control, LIDS® reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of greater or equal value.
Competition prize winners will be notified of the competition result by email (if address is provided) within 7 days following the closing date of each quarterly selection of the competition and will receive their prizes no more than 30 days following that closing date.
The results announcement may or may not include the name and photograph, the town or region of residence and prize details of each prize winner.
By participating in the Contest, you agree that no claim shall be asserted against LIDS®, its parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employers or agents in respect of any and all losses or injuries (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses), damages, rights, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever that result from your acceptance of the prize to the full extent permissible in law.
LIDS® is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any website, or a combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a Participant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in relation to the promotion.
